How much is a map clamp?
They are 30 bucks shipped in the U.S.

How do I pay for a Map Clamp?
You can send a money order (PM me for a address) or paypal me at Dasmopar@yahoo.com

Does the Map Clamp come with directions?
Yes it comes with direction for install and tuning.

I have stage 0 and will a Map Clamp work for me?
Yes a Map Clamp will work. You'll have to cap the tip sensor though.

I have stage 1, 2, or 3 Will a Map Clamp work for me?
Yes a Macp Clamp will work on all Mopar stages

How much horse power will I get with a Map Clamp?
Every car is diffrent but we are yet to see a car not pick up 10 WHP. in the RPM range some where. Stage 2 seems to get the most from a clamp since it runs so rich. Some stage 2 cars have picked up 25 whp with a clamp.

What does a Map Clamp do?
It is a tool used to limit how much voltage the map sensor can send to the ECU. (The higher the voltage the less timing and more fuel the ECU has the car running.) A example would be that on a Stage 2 car you might clamp the voltage so the ECU only see's 17 Psi of boost, but you are really running 19 psi. So the ECU is running the motor off the fuel table, and timing preset in the ECU for 17 psi. At 17psi you are running more timing, and less fuel. So now you might be at 11.0 A/F ratio VS. 10.0 or 9.9 A/F ratio

Can you preset the Map Clamp for me?
No. I can not preset the Map clamp in anyway. All cares are diffrent. Each clamp needs to be tuned on the car.

How hard is it to install a map clamp?
It is easy to install and takes about 30 minutes. It is soldering in 3 wires to the 3 wires coming from the map sensor. There is no cutting of wires with this Map Clamp install.

Did Tat2punk make this data base for you?
Yes he did and thank you Tat2!!!

What things do I need to have to tune it after it is installed?
You will need a sniffer on a dyno, or a wide band to tune it and that is it. Oh yeah a really small screw driver to turn the screw with.

What voltage do I need to set it at?
This is really hard to say. Unless you have a Return line set up we just use the clamp to lean out the A/F ratio and don't really tune to a voltage. If you have a return line and what to set it to a voltage you can and then add or subtract fuel to get the A/F ratio you want to run

Can I just put it on and go or does something else have to be done to it?
It has to be tuned. The clamp comes set to have no or very little effect on the car. Just putting it on and driving is safe. So if you wanna install it and drive for a few days then tune it that is fine.
